  • "We joke that we host visitors in our bathroom now because it’s the nicest room in our house. If you’re starting from scratch, having a designer with expertise in visual aesthetic and materials makes the process so much easier. I’m better with picking from a curated selection of options rather than wading through a sea of colors…fixtures…tiles. We highly recommend working with Bienvenue & Co."

  • "We turned to Meridith and Houseal Construction for major home renovations, including gutting and redoing our entire kitchen, redoing bathrooms (and adding one), and turning a neglected shed into a mudroom. From start to finish, she was a pleasure to work with, from design ideas to communication, to riding with me down to Boston to look at kitchen slabs. The reno was finished well over a year ago, but every time I walk into my house, I am still amazed by how beautifully things turned out. Especially the ideas Meridith came up with that we hadn't considered, such as giving up the eat-in-kitchen idea and putting in an island instead. Now we can't imagine it any other way! We also can't imagine not having the fabulous mudroom she envisioned - its aesthetics are surpassed only by its utility. We love our house - thanks so much!."

  • "We moved into our hunting lodge, that I had said we would never do. Never say never! When we spoke to Meridith our goals were to create more light, more countertop and more storage. We also didn’t want to do a massive amount of renovating. We got all of that And More. She chose our cabinets, accessories, lighting, plumbing fixtures. The only item I changed was the sink and I wish I’d gone with her choice. We love our new space now.""

  • "Working with Meridith was the best part of the bathroom renovation process. She was able to put together the bathroom in software so that I could really see how it might look. After a few times communicating via email she really understood my vision and was able to suggest fixtures and hardware for me to pick from. She also allowed me to find things on my own for us to look at and discuss. It was so great to feel like I was designing my own bathroom but doing it with Meridith made me feel like I had a safe guard against ordering the wrong items or not having the measurements correct."

  • "A Dream French Bathroom Come True! I had an amazing experience with Bienvenue & Co. and couldn’t be happier with the bathroom design consultation. Meridith helped me bring my vision of a French-inspired pink bathroom in a luxe style to life—right here in France. From the very beginning, she completely understood my taste and delivered a beautiful, spot-on design on the very first try. The virtual consultation was thorough and included a full presentation that I’ll now be using with my local contractors. Meridith gave me detailed instructions on how to reconfigure the layout—including moving plumbing and walls—and helped me source all the right items here in France. If you're looking for a custom, creative, and timeless design that truly reflects your style, I highly recommend Bienvenue & Co. It’s absolutely worth the value. Thank you, Meridith!"

  • "Meridith and her team worked to design and create our dream kitchen last spring, and we could not be happier. We'd lived in our home for 10 years with a functional kitchen, but it wasn't one that supported the life we lived in that house- bright, warm, full of friends and family. I came to Meridith with a simple drawing and a pinterest board, and she brought it to life. She was clear about what was possible and wasn't, and where to make tough choices about layout and cost. I never felt pressured to make a particular choice, and she was always open to my ideas. I would highly recommend Meridith- she's realistic, responsive, well versed in products and options, and so easy to work with!"

Meet Bienvenue & Co.

Meridith Bienvenue Interior Kitchen Bathroom Designer in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire

I’m Meridith — a designer, mom of three, and someone who genuinely cannot relax in a house that doesn’t function.

Bienvenue & Co. is my renovation-focused design studio. I specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, and living spaces that look fine… but don’t actually work.

I work with people who are tired of decision fatigue and just want their home to make sense — without giving up personality, warmth, or that “hell yes” feeling when the right tile shows up.

I’m not here to sell you perfection. I’m here to help you make smart, confident renovation decisions that fit your life, your budget, and your weird little hallway that was clearly added during a questionable remodel in 1986.

I believe in hardworking spaces. Vintage charm. A healthy amount of beige. Thoughtful details. And just the right amount of “screw it, let’s paint it black.”

If the layout is wrong, nothing else matters.
If it works, everything feels better.

Why Work With Us?

Because you want a space that works hard, looks great, and actually feels like home.
Because you’re done second-guessing every tile, light, and cabinet pull.
Because you want someone who understands budgets and beauty.
Because you’re craving calm, not chaos.

Because you’re ready to undo whatever happened in this house sometime between 1983 and no one knows when.
